Hermitage Castle in the snow

The elusive Hermitage Castle has finally been captured. This place is so far out of the way that it really does require a concerted effort to get to it.

During a trip down to Hawick I decided to make the effort and drive down the Newcastleton road in the snow to get some shots.

The snow set the Castle off perfectly and I had the place all to myself. What a truly mystical place.
